Ji Wei is a Bachelor of Laws (High Merit) graduate of Singapore Management University and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 2020.
Ji Wei’s focus is on general litigation work and his practice includes criminal matters involving, inter alia, voluntarily causing hurt, forgery, cheating, criminal breach of trust, consumption and possession of drugs, employment law contraventions and corruption matters. Ji Wei also acts for clients in non-contentious matters.
Prior to joining Abbots Chambers LLC, Ji Wei worked in the private equity and funds practice arm of a Singapore-Japanese formal law alliance where he was involved in a broad range of corporate matters including assisting in the structuring of funds, funds incorporation, privacy and compliance matters, drafting of shareholders agreements, shares subscription agreements and other general corporate matters.
Ji Wei has a strong interest in civil and criminal litigation. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
In his free time, Ji Wei enjoys hiking and football. He supports Liverpool Football Club.
